The Establishment has participated in helping victims of the devastating Typhoon Haiyan which hit the Philippines and caused massive destruction and loss of life and tangible property. The Establishment's relief team has arrived by a marine ferry boat to Bantayan Island; the most typhoon affected region. The team has supervised food distribution process in both Ceylon and Bejad regions, where food and relief aid has reached 117 tons, and beneficiaries five thousand families. The Establishment also constructs mosques, drills wells, and provides Iftar meals and Ramadan aid as a part of the international projects and aid. The Establishment continues to be a beacon of charity for the poor and needy in the Philippines and elsewhere.
