Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Establishment )MBRCH) announced its contribution with AED 20 million to support and enhance the '10 Million Meals' Campaign launched by Her Highness Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of UAE Food Bank to relieve and support the needy individuals and prissy families across UAE affected by the global coronavirus pandemic, address its local and global impacts and take the necessary decisions to protect the community.
H.E. Ibrahim BuMelha, the Advisor of His Highness Ruler of Dubai for cultural and humanitarian affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Establishment, in his exclusive statement to Al Bayan newspaper, called entities, companies, businessmen, individuals, and philanthropists, either citizens and residents to donate to this Campaign to successfully achieve its goals of alleviating the living conditions for those needy persons as a result of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
BuMelha indicated that the Establishment will make partnerships to manage this Campaign. He also indicated that those works would be completed successfully by forming a dedicated team for this Campaign to start this noble humanitarian and charitable mission and to mobilize all other charitable entities and associations to step lager their starring roles and unify their goals that all serve the community in order to deliver aids for the needy families during the holy month of Ramadan.
BuMelha thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and ruler of Dubai for his directives for launching the Campaign, emphasizing that this initiative reflects His Highness’s realization of the needs of both citizens and residents in such exceptional circumstances and taking their conditions into account, which will inevitably make thousands of families feel happy, especially at this particular time with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan during this pandemic that affected the income and livings of several people worldwide.
"Thanks to those generous directives that were issued at the right moment to mitigate the repercussions of the coronavirus outbreak, we will try to provide relief to large groups of the community who requires urgent support during this critical period and facilitate their living by securing their basis needs and supplies during the Holy Month, which is one of the priorities expected always from His Highness during the Ramadan to support families and individuals." BuMelha said.
