Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charitable Establishment and Al Faraj Fund signed a cooperation and community partnership agreement that aimed at the activation and consolidation of efforts to improve the Fund's work in providing humanitarian assistance to the needy categories that benefit from the Fund's services and to establish them toward community. The provisions of this agreement shall come into force after its signature by Ibrahim Boumelha, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Establishment and Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Badi, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Fund.
The agreement signed at the premises of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charitable Establishment in the presence of Saqr Salem Al Nuaimi, the Executive Director, Saleh Al Ketbi, Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communication from the Fund's part and Saleh Zaher, Director of the Establishment, comes as part of the community partnership that both parties seek to build with various sectors in pursuit of achieving the objectives of the joint humanitarian and charitable works and serving various segments of society.
The Adviser/ Ibrahim Boumelha said that according to the directives of the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates issued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, President of the UAE and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the policies and objectives of the State are to build the human beings for the sake of the nation's progress and advancement, and as part of the internal assistance programs implemented by Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charitable Establishment to help the needy and provide support and aids to the bodies that provide their main services to help the needy categories of society. The Establishment has donated by AED 1,000,000 to Al Faraj Fund, which supervises the assistance provided to inmates of correctional and punitive institutions in the state with minor financial issues.
Boumelha stated that this joint charity work between the Establishment and Al Faraj Fund comes within the framework of activating the cooperation between the Establishment and other bodies in the State and in support of joint efforts to help the needy and in line with the system of internal assistance followed by the Establishment pointing out that all agreements and partnerships of the Establishment with the authorities that seeks to ensure delivery of the funds of support granted to needy to increase their number as much as possible.
On his part, Dr. Nasser Salem Lakhreibani Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Al Faraj Fund, said that humanitarian work in the vision of the UAE is an approach and manner for more good for the recipient and the donor, and one of its most important features is that it is an institutional work in which the efforts consolidate and integrate each other. Dr. Nasser pointed out that Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment has become, at the same time one, of the most active institutions in the field of humanitarian and charitable work during the past few years.
He explained their happiness at Al Faraj Fund to renew the partnership with the Establishment in the process of cooperation, giving and humanitarian work to alleviate the suffering of the insolvent inmates of punitive and correctional institutions nationwide and to help their families in line with the high values derived from Islamic Sharia and the inherent cultural and social heritage of the UAE society. Dr. Nasser expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the Establishment due to its humanitarian and charitable contributions and the continued donation to alleviate the burdens of the insolvent inmates and to help their families through the material and moral support of Al-Faraj Fund's programs and campaigns
