His Excellency Ibrahim Boumelha, the Advisor of the Ruler of Dubai for Humanitarian and Cultural Affairs and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, in the presence of Saleh Zaher, the Director of the Establishment, has received the Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan, who appreciated the efforts of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment for supporting and carrying out humanitarian operations in different areas of Kerala.
The meeting has been attended by Yousuf Ali, the Chairman of LuLu Hypermarkets Group and accompanying delegation who visited Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment and with a delegation of Indian officials. The meeting reviewed the experiences of the Establishment in charity and humanitarian work and providing aids and assistance and the followed mechanism.
Vijayan conveyed the greetings and thanks of Kerala Government to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, May Allah Protect him, for the humanitarian work, which the Establishment provides to those in need around the world, particularly in Kerala.
Chancellor Ibrahim Boumelha, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Establishment, stated that the visit comes within the distinguished brotherly relations between the United Arab Emirates and India, pointing out that the visit aimed to identify and exchange information about the systems applied in the humanitarian Establishments in the United Arab Emirates for providing aids and assistance to those who deserve it.
At the end of the meeting, Pinarayi Vijayan, on behalf of Kerala Government and people of Kerala, invited the officials of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment to visit Kerala to closely overview the current situation.
