Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Establishment has performed the school backpacks project that includes distribution of uniforms and stationaries in several friendly and brotherly countries at the beginning of the new academic year. 58.268 students have been benefited from this project which was provided in coordination and cooperation with the local charity establishments and association working in these brotherly countries.
His Excellency Ibrahim Bumelha, Deputy Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment emphasized the importance of the efforts exerted by the Establishment to promote and move the education caravan ahead locally and internationally through the physical and spiritual support for this vital sector. This support comes in the form of helping the students and their families, building schools, providing the necessary studying tools and materials for the educational process.
Bumelha pointed out that the beneficiary families from these school distributions reached to 20.000 family in 12 countries in which this project performed. The project included 6 Asian countries; Palestine, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Philippine, Pakistan and Cambodia, where the African countries benefited from this project are 4 countries including Egypt, Ghana, Benin and Mali in addition to Kosovo.
Bumelha stated that the school backpack & uniforms distributed in different countries were backpacks including notebooks for school assignments, painting notes, math tools, covering papers as well as other tools like rubber eraser, pencil set, red and blue ink pens, ruler, painting pen sets, English notebook and other school tools.
Students who benefited from the school backpack & uniform project have praised and thanked Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Establishment for the rich contributions of the Establishment that made them happy and delighted.
